Saturn in Mythology:
In Roman mythology, Saturn was the God of Time, Agriculture and Wealth, and his reign was known as the "Golden Age" because of its abundance, peace and absence of immorality. His Greek equivalent is the Greek Titan, Cronus, and Saturn is often depicted with a scythe or sickle - which Cronos used to castrate his father, Uranus, and which also represents his agriculture connections. Saturn's wife was also his sister, Ops, and he was the father of Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, Juno, Ceres and Vesta.
Saturn is known for being a cold planet and it used to stand at the edge of the Solar System as the furthest known planet in ancient astronomy. As a result of that positioning, Saturn has always stood for the limits of the known universe and represents boundaries.
